That day, they found a few pairs of shoes, cleaned them up, posted them online and to their surprise, they sold quickly. It wasn’t just a small win. It was a spark that reminded them that with creativity, hustle, and heart, they could build something of their own. Edwin encouraged Nicole to explore her true lifelong passion: animals. Her deep connection with them had always been part of who she is. They created a profile on Rover, and before long, Nicole was walking dogs, doing drop-ins, and building genuine relationships with local pet families. More Than a Business - A Life Inspired by Pets

One of Edwin’s earliest memories is of his dog, Buddy. A happy, tail-wagging soul who never stopped smiling. As Buddy got older and lost the use of his back legs, he began using a wheelchair to get around. But through it all, he never lost his spark. Watching Buddy adapt and still find joy in the little things, running through the backyard, nose to the ground, excited just to be - taught Edwin something that’s stuck with him ever since: no matter how hard life gets, there’s always a reason to keep going, and always a reason to treat others with kindness.
